Bobby was our first client from our direct outreach on Reddit, and we’re immensely grateful that he took the chance with us.
As an introductory novella for his planned trilogy, Blades & Blood - The Way of the World, was an interesting project to work on. Bobby’d built up a vast cast of characters a dense world to fill his story. There was a lot of information that we needed to weave into the story while keeping the novella purposeful and fresh.
With our edits, we were able to tighten up his prose and trim some of the fat. The developmental edits was something of a challenge because of the aforementioned story details we needed to cleanly insert. But, it’s my belief that we struck a happy medium that communicated the necessary pieces while keeping the story fresh and exciting.
