Another fellow Redditor, when we saw Gourab’s blurb for the Misery Market Pt.1 we had to reach out. The concept was titillating, and much of our team has a personal preference for Science Fiction. Thankfully, Gourab was on board from the jump and we got to work.
The Misery Market pt.1 was something of a challenge. The book was structurally sound, but it was juggling complex ideas and too much of the story was getting lost in the minutia. It was also clear that Gourab had a lot to say, and the quality of his characters were suffering because of it.
Our edits were specific and poignantly placed, and it was a complete joy working with Gourab.
